It has been a long time coming but I wanted to share this picture from our holiday last year in Portugal. It shows Jenny having the time of her life swimming with a dolphin on her birthday. It is times like these when she is very glad she learned to swim at the Sussex Otters Club!

More recently here is Jenny meeting one of the owl stars of the recent film, ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.’

Please can I take this opportunity to recommend Marwell Zoological Park in Hampshire as a superb day out for people with disabilities. On a recent visit we discovered that electric scooters can be hired at £2.50 for the day, there are numerous disabled toilets and the park is fully accessible for wheelchairs. What’s more, the road train has a special ramp installed so disabled visitors can tour the park on this too! We were really impressed and wanted to share this information with other Otter members in case anyone wishes to visit over the summer!
