This is just a short note to express my thanks for such a wonderful garden party. The weather was beautiful, the company was special and a thoroughly good time was had by all ages. The children enjoyed playing in the pool whilst adults could relax in the summer sunshine getting to know each other better. The picnic idea was also lovely because it gave people the freedom to eat what they chose, when they chose and meant that everyone could take part in the afternoons activity. I know I speak on behalf of others when I say it is the loveliest afternoon I have spent in a long time. For this reason I feel it is a shame that the garden party was not supported by more people as this would have made it far more of a success financially. I do hope that the low attendance does not mean that such a nice occasion will be scrapped from the Otter's social calendar as I feel this would be a terrible loss.
Once again, thank you to those of you who organised the garden party and to those members who helped make the good times happen!
